Great photo frame, worst UK plug ever,
First the frame – good picture, nice range of options for different picture types, single, with clock, multiple pictures or cycle through them, different picture transitions and auto power off options.
But the pictures themselves are only shown in order of filename.
As a workaround five mins of googling turned up a quick windows batch file that would rename files in a directory with random names for just the trick before putting them onto an SD card.
Now the only real negative, the electrical plug. I can only imagine Sony spent serious engineering time coming up with the most stupidly designed plug I’ve ever seen on a product, as surely someone would have pointed out during product development the issue if it wasn’t deliberate…
Rather than being a normal UK plug shape, its thin but so wide (in the horizontal) meaning that if you plug it into a dual or extension socket – it will block sockets on either side from being used.
I’ve knocked two stars of it just for this as it’s so annoying – will have to look for a cheap generic adapter that matches the pin and rating of this one.

The picture frame is sturdy and well made, picture quality is good and i think for the price the frame is excellent. I would recommend the SONY DPF C800 8 inch Digital Photo Frame to all
